Kristine McGuinty

Kristine is a full time professional artist. Being creative has always been an important part of her life. She was a professional photographer for 19 years, now the paint brush is her “go to” tool for her creative expression.

Her work is shaped from her love of nature and she wants her art to reflect her experiences, it’s her motivation to paint. In nature there’s light and that light creates a mood. It affects how we see colour, how we see the contrasts and the shadows which all adds to the story in a painting.

Her aim is to play with these qualities in her work.
